Cars
Your car is suitable for scrapping if it meets (one of) the following characteristics:
- Your car is totaled - this can include fairly new cars that have been damaged in an accident in such a way that a repair is no longer economically justified
- Your car was rejected at the PTI (Periodic Technical Inspection) and can only be repaired at a high cost
- The costs of repair exceed the value of the car
- Your car has driven more than 200.000 kilometers
- Your car is 20 years or older
Scooters and other vehicles
Do you have a scooter, moped, van, company bus, motorcycle, camper, caravan, trailer or truck, of which you would like to know if it is suitable for scrapping? Call us, then we can help you right away.
Contact us
If you think your car or vehicle qualifies for scrapping, you can always contact us without any obligations. We will ask you for the following information:
- Name
- Phone number where you can be reached
- Location of the vehicle
- Brand, type and color of the vehicle
- Registration number
Pick-up truck
With our own pick-up service, we can collect your car for free. Often, this is still possible on the same day or the next working day. Our pick-up truck meets the latest environmental requirements, so we can also collect your car in, for example, the city centers of Rotterdam, Dordrecht or The Hague.
Collecting your car
We will call you ahead of time to let you know around what time we will pick up your car. This is dependent on the routes that we drive. We try to plan these efficiently, in order to keep our CO2-emissions as low as possible. Please make sure you answer your phone that day!
Certificate of indemnification - RDW
Once the driver has arrived, he will load your car onto the truck and you will receive a certificate of indemnification from the RDW. This is important, because you need it to end your car insurance. The indemnification certificate will be automatically forwarded to the tax authorities (Belastingdienst), so you won't have to do anything to stop your road tax. Please note that we need your complete registration certificate to issue the indemnification certificate. Are the car papers not complete? Then we can only release the car with a valid ID. Please make sure you have these ready.
